My roots are planted in Texas, but New York City captured my heart at 18 years old. I couldn’t resist the possibilities this City had to offer. I moved here to develop my craft of acting and immediately knew my stay was indefinite. As I continue my pursuit in the arts, I proudly hold a spot among the exceptional field of fitness professionals in NYC.
I’ve been an athlete my entire life, playing basketball in college, and now I find fitness to be my meditation. Between auditions and the sheer chaos of life in NYC, I need to dedicate time for myself every day or I’ll go nuts. Plus, it also provides the opportunity to connect with a wide variety of people in many professions. I teach indoor cycling at SWERVE Fitness and recently moved into the role of Assistant Director of Instructor Training. It’s the most fun job I’ve ever held.
Teaching fitness allows me a platform to help people to connect with themselves & each other. We need to be pulled out of our comfort zones from time to time and whether it’s in a cycling studio or a theater, my goal is to open people up to new possibilities. The two pursuits go perfectly together.
